A surprisingly enjoyable 1 hour sesh at Shoreham 3.20-4.20pm. I was the first to arrive @2ish to be greeted by very uninspiring grey marginal conditions. It didn't look sailable but I rigged the 5.8 anyway just in case. Gradually a few fellow desperados turned up (Jon, Hylts, Basher, WC, Brian) but an hour later it was still looking sh*t. And then it started to rain. :(

However just after 3pm finally the breeze appeared to be filling in. Jon assumed the role of guinea pig and without any pumping he planed straight off the beach - game on. With the rain drizzling down it took a certain degree of motivation to get wetsuited (and STILL not booted :)) but I was soon very glad that I did. Solidly powered for the whole session (maxed by the end) with plenty of nice wavelets available for some decent jumping and backside-bum-wiggling. I was sailing good too - planing out of the majority of my inside gybes on the flat gaps between the waves - made me think that my general technique seems to have improved noticeably this year. :)

So overall in spite of the grim weather a decent little session made better by the good company. A shame that bad light had to stop play.
